Casey Industrial Wins Summit County Project for CDOT

This summer, Casey Industrial competed for a major electrical project in the Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnels located on I-70 in Summit and Clear Creek Counties.

After an extensive review process and steps to clear the requirements for additional funding, the project was awarded to Casey Industrial. This Design-Build project will allow Casey to work closely with CDOT to finalize the scope of the project, narrow in on cost savings, and provide much needed electrical improvements in the two tunnels. Casey will replace the Motor Control Centers, add Variable Frequency Drives and new Switchgear, and oversee the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) integration. Completion of the work is expected in October 2020.

Casey is excited to work with CDOT in our home state to help with these improvements for the people of Colorado.
