Casey was contracted to install the press electrical, piping, tubing, mechanical and scaffolding, along with a portion of the electrical engineering. Casey was responsible for several large crane picks, with the largest weighing in at over four million pounds. The SMS Closed-Die Forging Press is structurally reinforced with four forged tie rods and maintains an integrated load-balancing feature that allows the operators to forge parts to extremely tight tolerances.
